The updated race rules for the event are now online. The rules for the Enduro riders are similar as in other Romania Enduro races. In ATV the updating consists in "YES, also in OPEN riders can go alone." Check the updated rules of the Enduro race here.

The organizers of HUNT-THE-WOLF-2012-MOTO are glad to have found another dream-partner in the person of Bart Stroiesteanu, as being technical director of the Moto-Enduro-race, held from 20-22.4.2012. Bart has his own Motoshop in Cluj, www.masterbike.ro, and is a very well known and very experienced Enduro racer.

The Enduro-Moto race of HUNT-THE-WOLF-2012 has now been anticipated 1week to 20-22.April. This because the known Moto-race at Deva has been scheduled on the 1st weekend of May, allowing racers only 1 week to recover. The new date for the MOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF-race only allows racers 2 weeks to recover, and offers like this a great opportunity to train for the race in Deva. The date for the ATV/Quad-HUNT-THE-WOLF-race remains as scheduled 25-28.April. The location remains Baisoara-Valea Ierii.

Only  few days ago the strong winds made it possible: more electric power (731 MegaW/h) produced from wind-energy as from one of Romanias big nuclear plants! The wind-power-plant in Fantanele/Dobrogea is owned by a Czek company, but the turbines were installed by the Romanian and Cluj based Energobit-Group: the main sponsor of HUNT-THE-WOLF. The organizers of the race event are very pleased to have found a "green" company as a partner.

Between 25 - 28 April 2012 the WOLF calls again to Transylvania. Already for the 6th time the purest 100% off-road race of Europe will take place near Cluj-Napoca. New in 2012: 4 full days of race, the location moved 50 km further into the mountains, no GPS need in the easier categories and for the first time as well 2 days of race for Hard Enduro bikers.

Every year the racing season begins in Transylvania/Romania with the already classical HUNT-THE-WOLF. In the category Extreme no other competition offers such a challenging off-road-driving, but for the less experienced racers and for the more and more often seen UTVs the tracks will be at a merciful level. The organizers from Authentic-Spirit and Primul-ATV-Magazin, represented by Mihai Concioiu and Oliver Renzler, try to give the best in choosing themselves the tracks and realize this event, in order to fulfill furthermore the high requirements expected by the participants. Both organizers are successful ATV-racers, with since recently a big interest for Hard-Enduro-Biking. So what could be more logical than to organize HUNT-THE-WOLF 2012 also for bikers. And the perfect partner and sponsor for this was found just in time with the energy producer ENERGOBIT and its executive director being also himself an enthusiastic off-road ATV and Moto driver.
